Dodge has repositioned their lineup to include a new SXT model with the aforementioned all-wheel-drive model, while the new Dodge Charger GT with rear-wheel-drive (RWD) settles in just beside it. Both are powered by the award-winning Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine, delivering up to 300 horsepower and even 30 mpg.Â

The latest Dodge Charger GT and R/T models receive a full complement of race-bred chassis enhancements in addition to a spectrum of performance parts that are both stylish and functional. Items like an air induction hood, a styled fascia, sculpted side sills, decklid spoilers and performance seats all do their part to look good and complete a specific function.
Also new on the Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack, and Charger SRT Hellcat are performance upgrades including Launch Assist and Line Lock; a new performance grille with dual air inlets, a launch control switch on the Scat Pack, and a Torque Reserve as well as After-Run Chiller on the SRT Hellcat, which only happens to be, at 707-horsepower, the quickest, fastest and most powerful sedan in the world.
Dodge Charger Trim Options & Features

- Charger SXT: Powered by the award-winning 292 horsepower Pentastar V-6 engine producing 260 lb-ft of torque, it is mated to the equally well-known TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. Well-equipped, it includes electronic stability control (ESC), capless fuel filler, Halogen headlamps, with LED accents, and three 12-volt power outlets.
- Charger GT: The RWD performance model using an uprated, 300 horsepower version of the Pentastar V6 engine, pushing out 264 lb-ft of torque to the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. Includes a performance suspension, and enhanced performance rear gear.Â
- Charger SXT AWD: Powered by the 300 horsepower, 264 lb-ft of torque version of the Pentastar V6 engine, the AWD system is automatic through an active transfer case and front axle disconnect to help minimize parasitic loss from the front axle.
- Charger R/T: Hemi-powered, the R/T gets its oomph from the iconic 370 horsepower 5.7-liter V8 producing 395 lb-ft of torque and mated to the 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. A race-bred suspension is also on board and the overall car can be enhanced with the addition of an available cold weather package.Â
- Charger R/T Scat Pack: The Scat Pack uses an uprated 392 Hemi producing 485 horsepower, 475 lb-ft of torque V8, complete with Line Lock, and Launch Assist for optimum performance on the drag strip.
- Charger SRT Hellcat: The King of the Hill, the Hellcat features a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine that produces 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Mated to an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission with paddle shift levers, it also includes a flock of speed enhancements including Line Lock with Launch Assist, an After-Run Chiller to keep the supercharger cooling after the engine has been shut down. Finally, Torque Reserve prefills the supercharger to balance engine rpm, while producing a reserve of torque from a standing start.
