For the new model year, the Dodge Durango GT models continue with V6 fuel efficiency but with the good looks of the Durango SRT and R/T performance front fascia. The aggressive SRT performance hood is now an available option on the GT while the Durango Citadel gets standard second-row captain's chairs. "Customer demand for utility vehicles in the United States has exploded…and the Dodge Durango continues to separate itself from the competition with the performance and capability that our customers demand," said FCA official Steve Beahm.

Dodge Durango Trim Levels:
- Durango SXT: The powerful, roomy Durango SXT is powered by a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 generating 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Equipped with the V6, the Durango SXT has excellent tow capability of 6,200 pounds.
- Durango GT: Sitting in the middle of the Durango model range, the Durango GT is powered by the same 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 as the SXT and is available in either rear- or all-wheel-drive configurations. It features dual exhaust, the eight-speed automatic TorqueFlite transmission and is also capable of towing up to 6,200 pounds in all drive configurations.
- Durango Citadel: Powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 as standard, the Citadel is also available with the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine producing 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. It also has an impressive tow rating of 7,400 pounds, and is complete with Fuel Saver Technology that deactivates cylinders seamlessly when you reach cruising speed. It can also be optioned with an 825-watt 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, just because.Â
- Durango R/T: Offering the most muscle for your buck, the Durango R/T is powered by the iconic 5.7-liter HEMI V8 mated to the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. Powering to 360 Horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque with incredible tow capability of 7,400 pounds. Once again, the Fuel Saver Technology is waiting in the wings to sip fuel once the R/T hits its sweet spot on the highway.Â
- Durango SRT: The top dog in the Durango garage, the Durango SRT is America's fastest three-row SUV. That's not bluster when you realize the SRT sports a 392-cubic inch, 475 horsepower HEMI V8 engine producing 470 lb-ft of torque that allows a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a quarter-mile elapsed time of 12.9 seconds, as certified by the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA). Add in the incredible towing capability of 8,700 pounds and you soon realize you have an SUV that can haul Butt and all your cargo at the same time.
