Dodge Charger SRT Interior

Dodge Charger Interior Review

If you are looking for a streamlined design that reminds you of the muscle cars of the 1970s, then the Charger is exactly what you want. The Charger is designed to provide must-have features without being weighed down with a lot of unnecessary technology. Every trim comes with a smart infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Drivers are greeted with power seating features as well as an available leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters. One of our personal favorite aspects of the Charger interior are the available performance pages. They allow you to track real-time information on the capabilities of your vehicle. This modern muscle car blends classic driving performance with fun tech that adds to the experience.

Charger Seats

The charger comes standard with an 8-way powered driver seat and an available 8-way powered passenger seat as well. Depending on which trim you choose, the seating will have standard cloth, optional leather, or a combination of leather and Alcantara, with several color options available. The front seats offer 41.8 inches of legroom, and the rear seats offer almost the same at 40.1 inches. No matter which seat you choose, you will feel comfortable. And, while you may not be choosing the charger based on cargo space, the 60/40 split rear seating and 16.5 cu.ft. of trunk space are considerably more than most sedans on the market.

Charger Interior Technology

The tech of the Charger is all about enhancing the driving experience. The stylish leather or Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel has all the necessary controls for the radio, cruise control, menu options, and more. It also comes with paddle shifters, providing more control over the way your Charger shifts. The instrument cluster in the Charger combines both traditional and modern elements, featuring an analog speedometer and rev counter, along with a 7-inch digital display in the center. This digital display provides you with essential information about your engine performance and fuel economy and even allows you to record your best 0-60 and ¼-mile times. The Charger has an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen that is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Sirius XM, hands-free calling, voice command, and navigation features.

Dodge Charger Performance Pages

Performance pages provide you with real-time information about your vehicle's capabilities. Check out some of the amazing features:

  • Timers Feature: You can simulate a drag strip. It keeps track of your stats, reaction times, acceleration, and braking.
  • Gauges Feature: Gauges offers three customizable pages to monitor various aspects of your drivetrain, such as oil temperature, pressure, coolant temperature, and battery voltage.
  • G-force Module: The G-force module keeps you informed about the forces exerted on all sides of the vehicle, including the steering angle.
  • Engine Screen: The engine screen displays important information about power, torque, boost pressure, and more.
  • Dynamometer: The dynamometer calculates and draws real-time graphs for power and torque.

Dodge Charger Models: Design

The Charger is undeniably attractive in terms of appearance. However, the overall look of the Charger has remained unchanged since 2020. The various trims of the Charger all have unique body styling, so it's a good idea to know what features you are specifically looking for.

Charger SXT Style: The base model SXT stands out as the most unique among the lineup. The upper and lower grille sections are smaller compared to other trim levels. It's a more basic look, yet still very attractive. The SXT is finished off with 17-inch silver aluminum wheels.

Charger GT style: Moving up to the GT, R/T, and Scat Pack models, you'll notice a significantly wider upper and lower grille section, larger wheel and tire packages, a more aggressively styled hood with a functioning hood scoop, and a black or body-colored spoiler. The Scat Pack variant also offers a widebody format. The GT and R/T offer 20-inch wheels, while the Scat Pack includes wider 20x9-inch wheels.

Charger Hellcat style: Finally, the SRT Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak and its widebody counterparts take the spotlight. They feature a sporty SRT performance hood with heat extractors, a widebody package with a performance front facia, a "mail slot" air opening, side skirts, and widebody fender flares on both the front and back, making the Charger 3 inches wider than stock and half an inch wider than a new Range Rover. Despite all this performance, it's essential to be able to stop all that power. Dodge has equipped all SRT models with 6-piston Brembo brakes, adaptive damping suspension, and 20x11-inch wheels.

Dodge Charger Color Options

The Charger comes in a variety of colors that most manufacturers don't offer. With 2023 being the final version of this style of Charger, Dodge introduced the Jailbreak program so owners can customize their vehicle with any color option on any model. Dodge rereleased Destroyer Gray, Plum Crazy, Sublime, and B5 Blue for this specific program. You can choose from any of the following colors for the charger:

  • Pitch Black
  • Frostbite
  • TorRed
  • Sublime
  • Granite
  • B5 Blue
  • Go Mango
  • White Knuckle
  • Plum Crazy
  • Triple Nickel
  • Sinamon Stick
  • Destroyer Gray
  • Octane Red
  • F8 Green
