Jeep Wrangler - Arlington Heights, IL

Jeep Wrangler For Sale

A very modern take on what is essentially a historic vehicle, the new Jeep Wrangler at Napleton's Arlington Heights CDJR has all the heritage, legacy, and gravitas of the original that won wars around the world, carried the wounded, and even delivered the mail. Since 1941, the Jeep has been known for what it can do versus what it can't. Every year the Jeep Wrangler's abilities only grow. With even more legendary Jeep 4x4 capability, it's a better bet than ever before to take you when and where you want to go, right now.  Bad roads ahead? No problem. A flash flood up to 30 inches? Child's play. Inclement weather? Fughedaboutit. Your Jeep Wrangler is up to the task and then some.

New in the Jeep Wrangler are a host of features that the competition can only dream about. This long list of features includes new Command-Trac and Rock-Trac 4x4 systems, next-generation Dana axles, a new Selec-Trac full-time transfer case, Tru-Lock electric front- and rear-axle lockers, Trac-Lok limited slip differentials, and 33-inch off-road tires. The Jeep Wrangler has never forgotten its roots and still boasts of industry-leading ground clearance and approach angles, along with unmatched crawl ratios and a modern design that still holds true to the original. They include the traditional seven-slot Jeep grille, iconic round headlights, a fold-down windshield, and more open-aired excitement thanks to an easy-to-use Sky One-Touch power top, along with available hard- and premium soft-tops.

Legendary Jeep Wrangler Exterior

The keystone-shaped grille pays its respects to Jeep CJ models of the past, while the round headlights and square taillights at the rear carry on the Jeep Wrangler lineage. New-age high-strength aluminum doors, hinges, hood, fenders, magnesium swing gate and windshield frame do their part to cut weight and at the same time improve fuel economy. The doors feature the Torx bit tool size stamped directly onto the hinge for a no-questions-asked answer to what is the proper tool size needed to remove them.

Jeep Wrangler two-door models are available in three trim levels ranging from Sport, Sport S and Rubicon. Wrangler four-door models come in four styles including Sport, Sport S, Sahara and Rubicon.

Jeep Wrangler Interior

The interior of the Jeep Wrangler combines authentic styling with added comfort, intuitive controls and improved technologies. The heritage-inspired center stack looks like vintage Jeep but don't let that appearance fool you. Soft touch materials are everywhere, including on the hand-wrapped instrument panel with functional accessory knobs, media charging and connectivity ports and an engine Stop/Start pushbutton.

The center console houses the gear shift selection, transfer case and parking brake. And just to remain perfectly authentic, real bolts are featured on the shifter, grab handles and to frame the infotainment screen with genuine construction methods. A choice of leather or cloth contoured seats are included and feature adjustable side bolsters and lumbar support.

The instrument cluster features a 3.5-inch or an available 7-inch thin-film transistor LED information display. This larger screen allows the driver to configure it more than 100 different ways to constantly monitor what is going on in their vehicle.

A 7.0- or optional 8.4-inch touchscreen are also on-board to control the fourth-generation Uconnect system. It's now the largest display in any Jeep. Two USB ports in front and two in the rear, along with an available 115-volt AC outlet are also in for the mix in some trim levels.

What Makes A Jeep A Jeep

The new Jeep Wrangler at Napleton's Arlington Heights Jeep is now the most capable Jeep ever produced. Its legendary off-road capability comes via two advanced 4x4 systems and, for the first time, a two-speed transfer case with full-time four-wheel drive and a special low-range gear ratio available on Jeep Wrangler Sahara models. Known as the Selec-Trac full-time two-speed transfer case, it is an intuitive system that allows a driver to set it and forget it, while constantly sending power to the front and rear wheels.

There's also the Command-Trac 4x4 system with a two-speed transfer case and next-generation solid Dana front and rear axle with 3.45 rear axle ratio.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon model is complete with a Rock-Trac 4x4 system featuring heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles as standard and Tru-Lok locking differentials. The Rubicon models also include improved articulation and total suspension travel versus the previous generation. There's also an electronic sway bar disconnect that assists in off-road handling and rock crawling. A driver's job is made easier via the six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions.

Every Jeep Wrangler from Napleton's Arlington Heights CDJR has it. By it, we mean the legendary Jeep status upon which its reputation has been built. That's clear as evidenced by the 4x4 systems, skid plates, front and rear tow hooks, new front and rear fascia, and available heavy-duty off-road winch-ready bumpers. When you combine this with the Jeep's industry-leading angle of approach and departure, ability to run through water 30 inches deep, and tow up to 3,500 pounds, it's clear to see why every Jeep receives the Trail Rated badge when it rolls off the assembly line in Toledo, Ohio, which has been home to Jeep for more than 75 years.
