The ultimate utility player, the Dodge Journey is filled with connectivity and the ability to customize via the award-winning Uconnect 8.4-inch infotainment system. There's a choice of powertrains including a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produces 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, or the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that makes 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The V6 is matched to a quick shifting 6-speed automatic transmission.
Both engine choices can be had with front- or on-demand all-wheel-drive (AWD), which senses slippage and engages all wheels until the extra traction is no longer needed, saving fuel in the process.
The Dodge Journey arrives in three different trim levels:
- The Journey SE: Now with a performance front and rear fascia, fog lamps, three-zone temperature control, and powered by standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine.
- The Journey Crossroad: As with the Journey SE, the Journey Crossroad is standard with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder but available with the optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. The Crossroad can be optioned with FWD or AWD and features standard 19-inch aluminum wheels that will help it to look as good as it goes.
- The Journey GT: Outfitted with a performance grille based on the signature Dodge brand "split crosshair" grille, and bold "ring of fire" taillights, the Journey GT features the 283 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. Mated to the six-speed automatic transmission and available on-demand all-wheel-drive, it is a vehicle that can take you and your things anywhere you want to be. And if you have to tow, it's capable of an additional 2,500 pounds.
