Dodge Challenger Interior Review
The Challenger is designed to provide all the interior features you expect without overwhelming you with excessive technology. Each trim level comes with an infotainment screen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Dodge offers a standard sport seat for both the driver and passengers, as well as a heavily bolstered performance seat. These seats come in a variety of materials, with several color options available. Some Challenger models also have the option of a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters. One notable feature of the Challenger's interior is the availability of performance pages, which enable you to keep track of real-time information about your vehicle's performance. This modern muscle car seamlessly blends classic driving performance with fun technology that elevates the overall driving experience.
Challenger Seating and Cargo Space
The Challenger offers a variety of seating options to suit your preferences. The driver seat comes with 8-way power adjustment as standard, while the passenger seat also has the option for 8-way power adjustment. Depending on the trim level you choose, you can have standard cloth seats, optional leather seats, or a combination of leather and Alcantara. Additionally, there are 15 different colors available for you to choose from. Higher trim levels Like the Challenger, the R/T Scat pack comes standard with heated seats as well. In terms of legroom, the front seats provide a spacious 42 inches, while the rear seats offer slightly less at 33.1 inches. The Challenger comes in at 94 cu.ft. of total passenger space, which is actually comparable to several smaller SUVs. The trunk space is only 16.2 square feet, but if you need more space, you can fold down the 60/40 split rear seat to gain additional room.
Challenger Interior Technology
The most important part of the Challenger's interior is the available 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen. This is where you control everything, from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to Sirius XM radio and navigation. You can customize the layout of the screen to put your favorite functions front and center. The instrument cluster in the Challenger is a mix of old and new. It has a traditional speedometer and rev counter, but also a modern 7-inch digital display in the middle. This display lets you keep track of important information about your car, like your speed and fuel economy. It can also show you navigation directions or let you customize the display to match your style. On top of that, you have Dodge Performance pages, which we will break down in the next section. Overall, these features are meant to complement the dynamic performance of the Challenger, not distract from it.

Dodge Challenger Models: Design
The Challenger comes in different trims, each with its own unique body style. It's important to know what features you're looking for. The base model SXT doesn't have a functional hood scoop, but it still has that classic muscle car look. It's finished off with 18-inch silver aluminum wheels. The GT, R/T, and R/T Scat Pack models have sporty upgrades. They have a performance hood with a functional hood scoop and an SRT front splitter. The GT and R/T have 20-inch wheels, while the Scat Pack has wider 20x9-inch wheels. The Challenger Hellcat and higher trims have a dual nostril ventilated hood and snorkel-style air intakes for the supercharger. Dodge Challenger Color Options
The Challenger comes in a variety of colors that most manufacturers don't offer. With 2023 being the final year of the Challenger, Dodge introduced the Jailbreak program so owners can customize their vehicle with any color option on any model. Dodge rereleased Destroyer Gray, Plum Crazy, Sublime, and B5 Blue for this specific program. You can choose from any of the following colors for the Challenger:

Dodge Challenger engine: Which Dodge Challenger Model is the fastest?
3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine
The SXT and GT trims are both powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 backed by an 8-speed automatic transmission. They both come with 292 horsepower for the rear-wheel drive option and the all-wheel drive configuration as well.

345 5.7L HEMI V8 Engine
The Dodge Challenger R/T comes with the 345 HEMI V8 engine. It has a 5.7-liter engine with 375 horsepower. While the R/T does cost more than the GT and SXT, it's a pretty happy medium for those who want power at an affordable price.

392 6.4L HEMI V8 Engine
If you increase the size of the 345 by 50 cubic inches, you get the 392 Hemi V8. This 6.4L engine is standard in the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack, delivering an impressive 485 horsepower.

6.2L HEMI SRT V8 Engine
The SRT Hellcat has a 6.2L Hemi high-output V8 engine that produces 717 hp and 656 lb-ft of torque, making it an incredibly powerful option. By optimizing the engine even further, you get 807 hp and 707 pound-ft. of torque, making it a top-of-the-line Challenger.

Dodge Challenger SXT
While the 2023 Dodge Challenger SXT is the base model, it still offers plenty of great features. Under the hood, you'll find a powerful 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, delivering an impressive 303 horsepower. It includes the Uconnect 4 system with a 7-inch touchscreen, providing seamless integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual-zone automatic temperature control, keyless entry and ignition, and a rear backup camera are expected features these days, and the SXT provides them all. The fine silver aluminum wheels are plenty nice, especially for a base model. Additionally, the 2023 Dodge Challenger SXT offers the option of all-wheel drive, which is almost unheard of for muscle cars.
Dodge Challenger GT
The 2023 Dodge Challenger GT is equipped with the same 3.6-liter Pentastar 303 HP V6 engine as the SXT. It upgrades the exterior to a performance hood that includes a functional hood scoop and an SRT front splitter, as well as 20x8-inch satin carbon aluminum wheels. A performance steering and suspension system is offered for rear-wheel drive models only. The interior is upgraded with Houndstooth Cloth Seats with Performance Bolsters for added comfort. All of the tech features of the GT are the same as those of the SXT, and it also offers the All-Wheel Drive option.
Dodge Challenger R/T
The 2023 Dodge Challenger RT upgrades to a powerful 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that can deliver up to 375 HP. It features an electronically controlled active exhaust system for enhanced performance. The vehicle offers a choice between a six-speed manual transmission or an available eight-speed automatic transmission, providing flexibility for different driving preferences. The R/T comes with a performance hood and front splitter, and since it is RWD only, it has performance steering and suspension. Inside, the vehicle has the same Houndstooth Cloth Seats with Performance Bolsters as the GT.
