Those wanting an even more powerful Charger will want to opt for the SRT8 with its 392 CID HEMI V8 engine that produces an astounding 470hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Two transmission choices include a 5-speed AutoStick automatic transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission with E-Shift (SXT & SXT Plus). |

On the outside, the boxy style of the Charger's previous iteration is replaced by a curvier design with improved noise reduction, aerodynamics and fuel efficiency. Dodge's traditional crosshair grille has been upgraded, retooled and enlarged, with more prominent surface development making it jut out in a more forceful fashion. A newly sculpted, more chiseled hood center makes the sedan more attention-grabbing, and a smoothed-out greenhouse cuts down on drag. Crisp, scowling headlights feature more angular lighting elements inside them, while the reshaped front air-intakes add a touch more edginess to the overall design. New taillights that incorporate 164 illuminating LEDs come together to create its signature Racetrack graphic featured on the rear end. Additionally, the R/T Road and Track and the SRT8 trims sport 20" wheels. All trims but the SE, R/T Road and Track and SRT8 have available RWD or AWD for improved handling on all road surfaces.
